Farewell to Interns Batch #8, 2008
On behalf of DANAU, I would like to express our appreciation to Mohd Razif, Rashidah, Ikram Hakimi and Norazizi for all the work thay have done for us, individually and as member of a larger team. They were interns no 22, 23, 24, and 25 respectively.
Mohd Razif, leaning against one of his work
Razif has a natural talent in graphic illustration and photography. He has helped us in producing some of our own corporate identity graphics and images. His ability to translate ideas and concepts into graphics and images had improved tremendously since he joined us in December 2008. That gave me the confidence to explore many new and different corporate identity concepts simultaneously including our website.
Rashidah, intensely waiting for her turn to present
Rashidah has helped us in improving some of our existing and new multimedia content work. She has shown a lot of determination and willingness to learn from the beginning. Rashidah is a quick learner. When she was asked to do a napkin sketch version of our office opening invitation card, she was able to come out with a good sketch in just a few days although she had not known napkin sketch before.
Ikram Hakimi talking about his work at DANAU
Ikram was very clear on what he wanted to do right from the begining, web development. Although we did pursue some system development on the web, most of his work for us were blog design and customization, including DANAU Blog (this blog) and Menguasai Internet. Other blogs will be launched at a later date.
Norazizi explaining database optimization
Norazizi has helped us in improving our Makan-Makan Malaysia (Edisi Melaka) database, testing and rectification, as well as data entry. Norazizi is not so sure what to pursue as career. We wish her all the best in determining what is the most suitable and meaningful for her to live with.
To Razif, Rashidah, Ikram and Norazizi, thank you for the time and commitment that you have given us. Your contribution is much appreciated and we wish you all the best in your future undertaking.
Dr. Ahmad Zaharim

A New Beginning

April 2009 marks a new beginning for DANAU. We moved office from K-Economy Incubator to our new office at the Nordin Group building.
Our new office is special in many ways. First, it is located in a single building that is shared with four other main companies and firms, namely, Adillah A Nordin (Advocates and Solicitors), Emilda Architect, DAMA Design + Build and NeuroMaju. Secondly, the building has a very distinctive red-bar design on its facade (designed by Emilda Architect). For that, I call the building The Red Maze. And for that too, our new address becomes:
DANAU@TheRedMaze, 82 Jalan TU2, MSC Cybercenter @ MITC, 75450 Melaka
